LabSpeed Feature Extensions are separately installed "plug-in" extensions to LabSpeed. The list below describes each feature currently available. LabSpeed version 5.2 or later is required. Please contact us via email or phone for more information on how to obtain these extensions.

Designed primarily for the Metals Industry, the LabSpeed Grade Library extension adds powerful Alloy identification and verification tools to the standard LabSpeed suite of data research options. Results stored by solid sampling anlyzers, such as Spark Optical Emission spectrometers and XRF handheld analyzers can be automatically matched against a specified grade library or alloy database and the closest matches can be viewed, exported and reported.
Key Grade Library Features include:
· Microsoft® Access™ Database (SQL Server support coming soon..)
· Full-featured Grade Library Editor for adding alloys and entering element grade concentration limits
· Wildcard alloy database search
· Reference colors for color-coding displayed pass/fail results
· Import grades from a MatWeb™ database of over 5000 alloys of known composition (requires LabSpeed 5.3)

This LabSpeed extension integrates tightly with the LabSpeed Grade Library. Users can easily search the database using wildcards and directly transfer up to 300 grades to the grade library. With internet access, all physical properties for selected alloys may be viewed. Analysis results can be matched against the grade library or the full MatWeb database and the closest matches can be viewed, exported and reported.
Key MatWeb Database Features include:
- Microsoft® Access™ Database contains compositions of up to 5000 predefined alloys
- Up to 300 alloys may be directly exported to the Grade Library.
- Wildcard search by Grade Name, Manufacturer, and Key Words
- Key Words contains alternate country names and manufacturer details
- Automatic grade matching when using unknown sample data
- Integrated into the LabSpeed Grade Libary
- Ability to view all physical properties for an Alloy with a single click

Table Views in LabSpeed can export to Delimited Text and Excel™. This LabSpeed extension adds the ability to export directly to a table in an SQL Server database.
Key SQL Server Export Features include:
- Ability to map LabSpeed Table column names to SQL Server table columns
- Ability to auto export to SQL Server in Monitor mode
- Ability to export to any SQL Server database table
